Expertise that makes the difference
Aurélie Soulat leads Vinconnexion with a firm belief: the best media relations stem from a genuine understanding of the products, the people who make them, and the media outlets being targeted.
Her knowledge of wine is rooted in her family history—her grandfather was a winemaker in the Beaujolais region—as well as in her training as an oenology technician at the University of Dijon and her WSET Levels 2 and 3 certifications. She regularly serves as a judge at wine tasting competitions, notably the Concours Général Agricole de Paris, and is a member of the Association des Sommeliers de Paris, as well as leading consumer tastings for 60 Millions, Monoprix, and Bettane + Desseauve.
A former horse racing journalist, she has inside knowledge of media expectations and possesses solid editorial experience. This dual background, spanning both the wine industry and journalism, is now one of Vinconnexion’s key strengths. And during her seven years as a racehorse trainer, she gained experience that taught her the importance of high standards, interpersonal skills, and building trusting relationships with her clients.
And because wine is also a profession driven by passion and connections, she loves exploring vineyards—often while running. She notably placed third in the renowned Beaujolais Marathon and won a silver medal at the French 100-km running race Championships in May 2026.
A Flexible Team: Customized Expertise: rather than relying on an in-house team, Vinconnexion works with trusted partners who bring complementary expertise, which we draw upon as needed for each project: market research, event planning, visual communication (photography, illustration, video), IT, web management, professional wine tastings, and more. Specific skills can also be provided upon request to support clients with their digital communication strategies.
