Expertise that makes the difference

Aurélie Soulat, President: according to the philosophy and the functioning of the agency, everyone works on all matters. Aurélie joined Vinconnexion Int. 14 years ago, and enjoys running it as she loves  “winemaking, a passionate agricultural activity”, the relationship with domains and journalists, writing and… vineyard marathons and trails. Her degree in Agriculture from Oxford, technicien œnologue diploma from the University of Dijon (2017) and WSET 2 and 3 confirmed her wine knowledge she got from her grandfather, a winemaker in Beaujolais. She is a jury member of several wine tasting competitions (Concours Général Agricole Paris, 60 Millions de Consommateurs, Bettane&Desseauve, Monoprix…), a member of the Association des Sommeliers de Paris, but also a former horse racing journalist, which gives her a precise vision of the media’s expectations and real writing skills.

Michèle Piron now works mainly with the international press for our client : the New York Wine Foundation.Founder of Vinconnexion thirty years ago, she has a proven track record in press relations in the wine world.“As a technician-oenologist from a family of winemakers, I have given Vinconnexion real credibility with the trade press, which is also an asset with the general press and bloggers who make up a large part of our network.” Co-owner of the family vineyard, she has a degree in oenology (DTO) from the University of Dijon and has been a member of professional tasting committees for several years (from the Wine Challenge in London to the Concours Général Agricole in Paris…). She is also a qualified translator, holds diplomas from the British and Spanish Chambers of Commerce, spent ten years working for the United Nations and has extensive experience in wine tasting (from all over the world). She has also completed the Masters of Wine course in London.

Apolline Lechevalier joined the team in the spring of 2022: with a Master’s degree in Marketing and Management, she brings a fresh vision to the agency; enthusiasm, adaptability, good communication and writing skills are among her strengths. She has been passionate about the world of wine and gastronomy for many years and holds a WSET 1, now preparing for Level 2. She is looking forward to deepening her knowledge and understanding of Vinconnexion Int. and is also an expert in social networking.
